1 for 1 Exchange Warranty Program

Our 1-for-1 Exchange Warranty Program covers manufacturer's mechanical and electrical component defects for specified terms from the date of your purchase. We will replace your unit with one of a similar specification or equivalent value. Read the exclusions, applicable fees, terms and conditions of this program below.

This Replacement Warranty is not an insurance policy. It is a service contract providing replacement for covered defects. It does not provide any guarantee or promise relating to the nature of the material, workmanship or performance of the covered product.

Coverage

This Futurestore One-for-One Replacement Warranty service contract (“Replacement Warranty”) provides for the replacement of the Product purchased by the customer if found to be defective during the term specified from the date of purchase. When the Product failure occurs due to a manufacturer's electrical or mechanical defect, Customer will receive a brand new replacement product of like kind, quality and value. Once the Product has been replaced, the Contract will automatically terminate.

This means that, the Product will have a total warranty of the term specified (under product eligibility section) stated from the date of a Futurestore Invoice/Receipt of the Product, subject to payment of the fee (if applicable) for the Replacement Warranty selected.

Product Eligibility

1. This Replacement Warranty applies to certain purchases of a Product and only covers a Product which:

  1. Is purchased new from Futurestore as a vendor.
  2. Is limited to domestic and personal use.
  3. Is clearly stated as part of the 1 for 1 Warranty Policy

Product Inclusions:

  1. 1 year for All TVs
  2. 30 days for Soundbars
  3. 30 days for Monitors
  4. 30 days for Bags & Accessories
  5. 30 days for all other items sold under Futurestore

Exclusions
  1. Third party Vendors on the Futurestore platform
  2. UnNew, used, refurbished, open-box or products sold as-is.
  3. Products not explicitly specified or included in the product eligibility list
Limitation of Liability

Maximum entitlement shall in no event exceed the actual purchase price of the covered Product. Customer would be required to pay for the additional amount if the Replacement product value is more than the purchase price they paid for their original Product. Futurestore shall not in any event be liable to person or property for any incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages. This contract is non-transferable.

Submission of Replacement Claim
  • It shall be a term of this Replacement Warranty that in the event of a breakdown that may give rise to a claim for replacement under this Replacement Warranty, the Product covered under this Replacement Warranty must be presented to any authorized Futurestore retail outlets or service centers within the Replacement Warranty coverage period and in any case, within fourteen (14) days of the happening of such event.
  • The product to be replaced must have the Futurestore Warranty sticker intact and untampered with.
  • If the Futurestore Warranty sticker is tampered with or removed, the 1 for 1 Warranty program will be considered null and void.
  • For all Replacements, the Futurestore Sales Invoice/Receipt for the Product must be presented.
  • Customers are required to consult the manufacturer’s instructions to determine if the failure to operate is due to circumstances that may be corrected by the customer. If the breakdown is not covered by this Replacement Warranty or if the Product is found to be non-defective, the Product will be returned to the customer.
Applicable Fees

Certain fees apply for the processing and submission of a replacement claim.

Assessment Fees: BND 50

To be levied to determine whether your product qualifies for a 1-for-1 exchange.

Transportation Fees on Pickup: BND 65

If our team needs to pick up your defective product from your location.

Transportation Fees on Returns: BND 65

If our team needs to deliver your replacement unit to your location.

There are no transportation fees levied if you drop off your product at one of our fulfillment centers.

Coverage Exclusion
  • Any defects that are subject to the manufacturer's recall.
  • Any cost or damage associated with routine maintenance, inspection, cleaning, lubrication, external adjustments, and any other instructions.
  • Non-operating and cosmetic items, paint, color, or Product finish; accessories used in or with the Product; external cables and cords; glass and lens; add-on options incorporated.
  • Unauthorized modifications made to the Product; altered serial numbers; failure to follow manufacturers’ instructions on installation, operation or maintenance; repairs performed by non-authorized repairer; any items not affecting the function of the Products; image burn.
  • Software (including operating system and any stored data), defects resulting directly from software installation and or removal, computer virus, virus prevention, and other peripherals.
  • Repairs to hardware that has been added after the original purchase of the Product.
  • Consumables such as vacuum cleaner belts, toner, print or ink cartridges, bulbs, compact discs, digital tapes, etc.
  • All batteries (including regular (non-chargeable batteries)) External faults such as wiring, electrical connection or plumbing, piping, trunking, fitting, realigning of signal receivers (poor reception), and consequential loss of any kind.
  • Repairs necessitated by accidental or intentional physical damage, spilled liquid unless specifically covered in the Contract.
  • Burglary, theft, corrosion, animal and insect infestation, misuse, neglect and abuse.
  • Failure caused by a voltage converter and /or applying incorrect voltage to the Product.
  • Diagnosis where no defect has been found or noted.
  • Defects and on-site service charges not covered by the manufacturer's original written warranty, unless otherwise stated as covered above.
  • Shipping charges and damage, express service charges, transportation damage, removal, installation or reinstallation of the Product, products on loan during the repair process.
  • Commercial use (multi-user organizations), public rental, use for profit or communal use for multi-family housing.
  • Any loss or damage to the Product resulting from fire or flood, howsoever caused.
  • Any loss or damage to the Product resulting from an act of God (including without limitation, events such as earthquake, war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities or warlike operations, civil war, civil commotion).
